First Nations Business

Algabonyah Business Development Unit
The Algabonyah Business Development Unit (ABDU) incubates an environment that encourages entrepreneurs, the development of enterprises and employment opportunities to strengthen local and regional GM Aboriginal prosperity. The ABDU works closely with the RFNC Aboriginal Employment Program (AEP) to broker employment and business opportunities and pathways. This work also includes working with business stakeholders on Algabonyah Business Accords (ABA) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU). After three years the ABDU is working towards a 3-year strategy in the larger regional prosperity plan which aims to not only improve Aboriginal parity but increase regional productivity and local economies in the Goulburn Murray region.
