Dungala Kaiela Foundation

The Dungala Kaiela Foundation works through partnerships to provide a range of activities, supports, information, courses, scholarships, programs and research for young people, their families, program workers and the community. The Foundation is committed to improving the well-being of Indigenous families and communities in Victoria,especially in the Goulburn Valley. Its focus is strengthening social, educational, economic, health and cultural capabilities, particularly for young people.


The Foundation is a non-profit public company that is limited by guarantee and is governed by its Board. 

The Foundation is a Public Benevolent Institution with an endorsement from the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient under Item 1 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. It is also has been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office for charity tax concessions.

It has been operating since May 2008.
